The Rules

• A $5 entry fee.
• A bottle of bourbon in a sealed sack with the proof clearly marked on the outside.  Any identifying labels should be removed.
• A rocks glass
• A shot glass
• Balls

Any bourbon that has never won a tasting event.  Previously entered non-winners are fine.

If a bourbon has won the tasting — it’s retired/restricted. It cannot be brought back into any future tastings. This keeps the tasting competitive and forces members to actually hunt for something new and tasty. Bring your A game Folks!

The winning bottle gets finished in the winning event.  The bottle can be finished in the following ways:

• Neat
• On the rocks
• Old Fashioned
• Whatever creative move shows up that night 

The winning bourbon is retired/restricted. It cannot be brought back into any future tastings.

The bottle receives the Shriveled Sack Award.
